I wanted to post the pic of my completed SAL earlier but has to hold back the excitement as I was waiting for my 'kutu frame' to arrive so that it can pose together-gether dengan bergayanya. But..Adek Manis dok sebok tanya bila nk tayang..bila nak tayang..so I'll just tayang dulu lah ..later later will do the touch up lah..LOL

Like I've mentioned before, I'm in a hurry to complete the SAL A.S.A.P as I want to do something else during Ramadhan . I have been doing nothing else except for these SAL day and night until I grumble a lot..macam radio rosak la pulak. It was completed on merdeka day....not merdeka's eve but slightly a few minutes before it become a day after merdeka. And such a historic date will remain on the sampler forever..wink wink..

To all my SALling buddies..I'm sorry if I TERlaju ke hadapan. Jangan rasa tertekan eh..

P/S..While I'm stitching the pink dots, it remind me of the blisters of chicken pox on my son's body. Pity him..to have chicken pox during the merdeka weekend. Yess..Ameerul Iman..Mama dedicate the pink dots to you as rememberance of the agony and pain you have to go thru and the whining Mama has to purak2 dengar..luckily..I have the pink dots to stitch..my mind is elsewhere..LOL

SAL August Update

Yess..this is my SAL accomplishment until 1st August 2007..I intend to finish it ASAP..

To all my SAL buddies..I'm sorry..I have to move on ahead as the fabric has turned color from white to ivory. I'm afraid by the time its due to finish in December...it will be dark brown (LOL).
Thank you to my furry stitching companions. They find the fabric is the nicest place to sit on whenever you're not around. They are indeed the best turbo engine for SAL.

Everybody should get at least one cat..they boost 'everything' that need to be boost.You become alert, energetic and what not as you tend to carry the work everywhere...The best stalker too*wink-wink*.

SAL's Update

I'm a little behind in updating my SAL progress..(me and my 'purak-purak' busy schedule of course..LOL)..but here you go...It is still way behind that ahkak Lindt progress...but since she suddenly become my idol for speed turbo engine scheme..I'm finding a way to keep myself occupied and alert...ROTFLOL





maybe...sleeping with JE chart and using a pillow instead of a 'pinggan like Pinchesska did..that pinggan was meant for my glue projects and she's taking over..sigh*

Stitch-A-Long Friendship Sampler officially launched...yeehaaa

I'm so anxious to start this SAL as most of my buddies has started. For the first time in my stitching life, I decided to go all out with gridding the fabric...Ya..ya..you read it right...I'm actually trying to grid the fabric 100%...* humungous grin*
So, armed with a red thread and a needle..and with a fully consious mind..I started gridding. But then..I find that this is so not enjoyable. So..I stopped after 3 lines..keh keh keh.


There goes my ramblings about doing it right the first time and minimizing frogging. If a lot of frogging involved in the near future..blame it on Ibu_Sara. She got me interested and excited with her theory of 'gridding seketul-seketul' ( as told by Ain)...LOL...Just joking ya Ibu...
I will update as soon as I managed to stitch my first row...yehaaa.
