A simple tutorial for a simple bookmark

Here we go.. its a first bookmark from me, so didnt expect much frm it. It's a huge achievement for a person who is a total wreck at ribbons and lace. Frays is a 'wreck' best friend then..

The stitched piece

Since I'm using fray as a finishing, I backstitched the edges using white floss. making it look like a frame.

Cut iron on interfacing material to match the stitched frame(blue thread frame)

Iron on the wrong side of the piece. Untangled the cloth thread one by one until it reached the frame made by the white backstitch thread. U have frays there..walla!

The bookmark from the back view.
